What we do
A tour operator that provides tour packages throughout Southern Africa. This includes your accommodation, transport and tourist attractions. Our itineraries are popular and provide you a hassle free time when on the African continent. We are Pokemon Go friendly and provide itineraries to your requirements and needs.
Itineraries are carefully planned so that your trip takes place at a time that the destination provides you the best on offer. For example, the Namaqualand trip takes place during July, to early September when the flowers are in full bloom. We have been doing this for many years and our itineraries are tried and tested so that you experience an unforgettable trip.
If you are interested, e-mail Annekie and she will start your Southern Africa adventure. We provide private tours for groups, friends or families. If you prefer a private itinerary, she will gladly accommodate you.
Hola Tourism Network
Through the Network, we provide tour itineraries to all 9 provinces in South Africa. These trips are extremely popular with our senior citizens and run throughout the year. These trips are planned for the best time of the year to the various provinces and you are welcome to join us on these tours. Meet fellow people from South
Africa that are in the same age group as you. These trips are relaxed and small groups and it is an excellent way to see this beautiful country. We keep the driving to a minimum so that we spend more time at tourist attractions.
We do these tours in English and in true South African hospitality with regular stops and perhaps some tea or coffee whilst on the road. Our accommodations we use are tried and tested and we also use accommodation on working farms and this is a great way for you to meet our people and experience South African hospitality. Cape Town is always a favorite destination when on the African continent and our tours to the garden route and Western Cape are excellent and are guided or self-drive.
Catz specialize in the SanParks (South African National Parks) and our tours to the Kruger, Kgalagadi, Hluhluwe, and many more is a passion for us as we love the African bush. We will arrange proper Kruger itineraries should you wish to see the Kruger with its camps such as Skukuza, Satara, Olifants, Punds Maria or a combination of these accommodation facilities.
We have a large amount of Lodges on file and have bargained excellent rates should you rather wish to be spoiled rotten while in South Africa. Our tour packages include the Sabie Sands, Timbavati, Thornybush and many more concessions that are part of the Kruger. A daily routine when staying at a lodge is getting up early for a game drive and breakfast either in the bush or back at the lodge. Game walks are done after the morning game drive. Rest & relax for the rest of the morning. Enjoy the pool until lunch.
After lunch you depart on a late afternoon evening drive searching for the elusive big 5. Dinner is either in the boma around the fire or in-doors if the weather is providing much needed rain for the bush and its animals.
Our tours to various towns are of a historical nature so that you can get an understanding of the history of our people, where they come from and their culture. Obviously the food in this country is excellent and quite a variety to choose from. We have dishes from all over the world with a South African flavour. Traditional dishes such as “mieliepap & sheba” can be tasted with a lekker braai (barbecue) in the bush or in Soweto at Sakhumzis. Cape Town you will be eating some of the finest fish and enjoying a glass of wine.
So, be prepared to add on a few kilo’s when in South Africa.
Catz Tours also provide tour packages to Namibia, Botswana and the Victoria Falls. A good package is a combination of the wildlife, Cape Town and the Victoria Falls. Landing at Johannesburg’s Oliver Tambo International, spend a day or two and visit the Apartheid museum, Soweto, Sterkfontein caves and many more.
